ABOUT
ELISABETH ZIMMERMANn
Art that moves the spectator. Art that fuels the spectator to think and debate. Art that excites by touching the soul.
Born to German parents in the Netherlands -both musicians in their own right- I was exposed to living around the globe, learning multiple languages, fervently traveling always with a focus on art. ‘Walk in the Spring’ by Sybille Hermanns – my first oil/acrylics on canvas – toured the world with me from Osnabrück to Den Haag via Rotterdam, New York, Hong Kong, Tokyo, London.
It is on this journey over the past 30 odd years that I probably invented ‘the new working’ – combining the best of two working worlds - being an art dealer and working in the financial sector. The shows I curate are set in an entrepreneurial environment – in the midst of Roodhals Capital’s investment bank boutique on the Lange Voorhout in The Hague. Great location. Great light. Great people. And above all, a fantastic setting for art to inspire the spectator, grab attention and leave a lasting impression. Art literally put to work.
Viewings are by appointment and can be arranged daytime or evenings. Should you have a particular space in mind for which you would want my art suggestion, please get in touch. I would love to work with you to find the perfect piece of art for your home or office environment. Companies can rent a show for their offices with the possibility of a company-employee-art-purchasing-plan.
